Alice Fulks Killed in Head-On Collision on U.S. Route 150 in Downs, IL – October 18, 2025

On October 18, 2025, a fatal collision occurred along U.S. Route 150 near N. 2000 East Road in Downs, McLean County, Illinois. According to Illinois State Police, a vehicle traveling eastbound crossed into the westbound lane at approximately 3 p.m. and struck another vehicle head-on. The impact resulted in the death of Alice Fulks, a 71-year-old resident of Downs. She was pronounced deceased at the scene, and an autopsy later confirmed the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries.

Authorities reported that the other driver attempted to flee the scene on foot but was later apprehended and transported to a hospital for treatment.
