Andre Reynold Smith, 38, of St. Paul, Minnesota, was injured in an early morning collision on southbound Highway 169 at Sibley County Road 8 in Henderson Township on December 22, 2025. According to authorities, Smith was driving a Ryder rental truck that was stopped on the southbound shoulder when a southbound semi tractor-trailer jackknifed under snowy and icy road conditions and struck the truck.

Smith sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Ridgeview Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and no alcohol involvement was reported.
