She was a passenger in a Toyota Venza that left the roadway and crashed under snowy and icy conditions. The incident occurred at approximately 9:47 a.m., according to authorities.

Peterson sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Allina Health for treatment. The vehicle was driven by Arden Lowell Peterson, who was also injured.
