Benjamin Villano Fatal Crash in Saint Paul, Minnesota on November 12, 2025

A fatal collision occurred in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on November 12, 2025, when a Tesla Model 3 traveling at a high rate of speed exited eastbound Interstate 94 toward Dale Street and struck a Toyota RAV4 entering the intersection. The driver of the RAV4, 31-year-old Benjamin Michael Villano of Saint Paul, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Regions Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident, and multiple local agencies, including Ramsey County and St. Paul Fire, responded to the scene.

The Tesla was operated by 22-year-old Musab Ibrahim Kosar of Fridley, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did a 19-year-old passenger, Suban Geer of Saint Paul. Both were transported to Regions Hospital. Authorities have not yet determined whether alcohol played a role in the collision. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that the investigation remains ongoing as additional factors continue to be evaluated.
