Ashley Horstmann Injured in McLeod County Collision – October 29, 2025

On October 29, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred in Hale Township, McLeod County, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to 30-year-old Ashley Marie Horstmann of Glencoe, Minnesota. The incident took place at approximately 12:54 p.m. at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 7 and Grove Avenue. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2014 Chevrolet Captiva driven by 76-year-old Diane Mae Horstmann of Lester Prairie was turning eastbound onto Highway 7 when it collided with an eastbound 2017 Ford F-250 driven by 23-year-old Clarke William Hoikka of Cokato.

Both Diane and Ashley Horstmann sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Glencoe Regional Health for evaluation. All individuals involved were properly restrained, and alcohol was not a factor. Road conditions at the time of the crash were reported as dry. The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Silver Lake Fire Department, and Silver Lake Ambulance assisted at the scene.
