Brenda Gettel Injured in Semi-Truck Rollover on MN Highway 23 in Cold Spring

On August 20, 2025, a semi-truck rollover incident occurred on MN Highway 23 at Mile Marker 191 in Cold Spring, Stearns County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2004 International Semi Tractor Trailer was in the process of turning from Main Street to travel northbound onto the highway when the vehicle tipped onto its side.

The driver, identified as 63-year-old Brenda Kay Gettel of Long Prairie, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital for medical evaluation. Authorities noted that Gettel was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident. No alcohol involvement was reported, and the road conditions were dry. Multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene, including Cold Spring Fire Department, Stearns County Sheriff's Office, and Mayo Ambulance.
