Brian Scott Goltz Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 10 and Highway 210 Intersection in Motley, Minnesota on February 13, 2026

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 210 in Motley during the early morning hours of February 13, 2026, left two individuals injured, according to authorities.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:06 a.m. when a 2025 Ram pickup truck pulling an empty cattle trailer was traveling eastbound on Highway 10. As the driver attempted to stop at the traffic signal at Highway 210, the vehicle lost control on wet road conditions and collided with a westbound 2023 Toyota Corolla that was already stopped at the light. The Corolla was driven by Brian Scott Goltz, 60, of Motley, Minnesota. Goltz and his passenger, 26-year-old Bryce Peter Jones, also of Motley, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Lakewood Hospital in Staples for treatment. The pickup truck driver, 22-year-old Aloysius Irving Mitchell of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, was not injured. Authorities reported that all individuals involved were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not suspected as a factor in the crash.
