Kenzie Kosatria Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 2 in Snohomish County, Washington – February 12, 2026

On February 12, 2026, a multi-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 2 near milepost 31, west of Stevens Pass, resulted in three fatalities and injuries to two others, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash involved a westbound Ford Fusion that crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound Ford F-150 head-on. Following the initial impact, a Honda CR-V collided with the F-150, ultimately coming to rest in a ditch along the eastbound shoulder. The force of the collisions caused both the Fusion and the F-150 to ignite. Kenzie Kosatria, 20, of Seattle, and a 19-year-old passenger in his vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to Providence Medical Center for treatment. The drivers and two occupants of the F-150 were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the incident to determine the cause and liability.
