Charles Stimson Killed in Train Collision in Muldrow, Oklahoma on September 18, 2025

On September 18, 2025, a fatal train collision occurred in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old man. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported that the incident took place at approximately 3:17 p.m. on East 1108 County Road near Muldrow, where a vehicle attempting to cross railroad tracks was struck by a Union Pacific train.

Charles Stimson of Muldrow was identified as the passenger in the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The driver of the vehicle was also injured. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
