On January 16, 2026, a three-vehicle collision occurred along Interstate 555 southbound near the 13-mile marker in Rural Poinsett, Arkansas. The crash took place at approximately 5:50 p.m. under cloudy skies and wet road conditions. According to the Arkansas State Police, a 2000 Mazda traveling northbound struck the rear of a 2016 Ford before leaving the roadway and hitting a cable barrier.
