Jeremy Wetherald Killed in DUI Crash on Highway 101 in Raymond, WA – October 5, 2025

A fatal collision occurred on the morning of October 5, 2025, in Pacific County, Washington, resulting in the death of 50-year-old Jeremy Wetherald of Lacey. The crash took place around 10:46 a.m. on U.S. Highway 101, just north of Raymond, near milepost 60 between Smith Creek and Butte Creek Roads. According to the Washington State Patrol, a 26-year-old driver from Wyoming, operating a 2018 Jeep Cherokee, allegedly crossed the center line while driving under the influence and struck Wetherald’s 2007 Dodge Caravan.

Wetherald was pronounced dead at the scene. A 73-year-old female passenger in the van sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV was arrested and booked into the Pacific County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to evaluate contributing factors, including blood alcohol levels.
