Judith Holden Injured in Fatal DUI Crash on U.S. Highway 101 near Raymond, WA – October 5, 2025
On October 5, 2025, a two-vehicle collision involving suspected impaired driving resulted in one fatality and left 73-year-old Judith E. Holden of Hoquiam, Washington, injured. The Washington State Patrol reported that the incident occurred at approximately 10:46 a.m. on U.S. Highway 101 near milepost 60, between Smith Creek and Butte Creek Roads, just north of Raymond.
The crash involved a 2018 Jeep Cherokee operated by a 26-year-old Wyoming man, who allegedly crossed the center line and struck a 2007 Dodge Caravan head-on. The driver of the van died at the scene, while Holden, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with injuries described as non-fatal. Authorities confirmed that alcohol is believed to have been a factor. The suspect has been arrested, and charges including vehicular homicide are under investigation.
