Coby Wagner Injured in Fatal Head-On Collision in Rural Garland, Arkansas – September 18, 2025
On September 18, 2025, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Walnut Valley Road in rural Garland County, Arkansas. According to the Arkansas State Police, a 2017 Dodge traveling west crossed into the path of an eastbound 2018 Nissan, resulting in a head-on impact.
Coby W. Wagner, a 30-year-old passenger from Hot Springs, sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to CHI St. Vincent Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Dodge, Garrett I. Burks, 32, of Jessieville, was also injured. Patricia E. Heibner, 85, of Hot Springs, who was driving the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was dry and weather conditions were clear at the time of the incident.
