Cody Wall Killed in Head-On Collision on FM 485 in Milam County, Texas, January 4, 2026

On January 4, 2026, Cody Blaine Wall, a 43-year-old resident of Cameron, Texas, died in a head-on collision on FM 485 in Milam County. The crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. when a 2018 Ford F-250 traveling eastbound crossed into Wall’s westbound lane while attempting to pass other vehicles in a marked no-passing zone. The vehicles collided approximately half a mile west of County Road 144. Wall was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Greg Hoelscher.

The driver of the Ford, a 20-year-old man from Conroe, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, and a complete crash report will be made available through official channels. Next-of-kin for Wall have been notified.
