Connor Post Killed in Early Morning Route 62 Crash in Barre, Massachusetts on December 29, 2025

On December 29, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., a single-vehicle crash occurred on Hubbardston Road (Route 62) in Barre, Massachusetts. According to the Barre Police Department, first responders arrived to find two occupants deceased inside the vehicle and a third individual in critical condition. The roadway remained closed for several hours as authorities conducted an on-scene investigation before reopening around 11:00 a.m.

Connor Post, 20, of Gardner, Massachusetts, was identified as one of the individuals who died in the collision. A second passenger, 19-year-old Michael Publicover of Winchendon, was also pronounced dead. The driver, Faith O’Rourke, 20, of North Brookfield, sustained critical injuries. Officials have stated that the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
