Daniel Dickmann Dies in Tree Cutting Accident Near Harding, Minnesota

On August 7, 2025, Daniel Dickmann, 57, of Hillman, Minnesota, died following a fatal fall while performing tree removal work in Pulaski Township, approximately four miles east of Harding. According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, Dickmann was cutting a tree in sections from a height of roughly 37 feet when a previously cut portion unexpectedly swung into the trunk, causing him to lose his balance and fall. A part of the tree then landed on him upon impact.

Dickmann, a seasoned professional in the tree trimming industry since the 1980s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office expressed formal condolences to Dickmann’s family and acknowledged the emergency personnel who responded under challenging conditions.
