Daniel Selander Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 25 in Monticello Township

On August 19, 2025, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Minnesota Highway 25 near mile marker 66 in Monticello Township, Wright County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 52-year-old Daniel Jay Selander of New London was driving a 2024 Ford F-150 northbound when a southbound 2020 Chevrolet Malibu lost control and struck the rear driver’s side of Selander’s vehicle.

Selander sustained non-life-threatening injuries and did not require hospitalization. The other driver, identified as 26-year-old Ashley Lynn Jampsa of Monticello, was transported to Monticello Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was involved on the part of the Malibu driver.
