Raymond Avelsgard Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 371 in Crow Wing County
On August 19, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 371 at Bon Arbor Lane in West Crow Wing Unorganized Territory, Crow Wing County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2010 Chevy Equinox traveling southbound attempted a left turn onto Bon Arbor Lane and collided with a northbound 2013 Ford Expedition. The Expedition was driven by 73-year-old Raymond Glen Avelsgard of Sebeka, Minnesota.
Avelsgard sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd for treatment. The driver of the Equinox, a 17-year-old female from Baxter, reported no injuries. Road conditions were dry at the time of the incident, and no alcohol was involved.
