David Edward Harnden Injured in Multi-Vehicle Interstate 94 Crash in Buse Township, Minnesota on November 30, 2025

On November 30, 2025, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on westbound Interstate 94 near mile marker 59 in Buse Township, Otter Tail County, Minnesota. The incident involved four vehicles and took place amid traffic congestion under dry road conditions. According to official reports, a sequence of impacts began when a westbound vehicle collided with a stopped Chevrolet Equinox, causing it to spin and strike additional vehicles that were also stopped on the interstate.

David Edward Harnden, age 61, of Everett, Washington, was identified as the driver of the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Lake Region Hospital for treatment. Two passengers in his vehicle also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the same facility. Authorities indicated that seat belts were in use and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
