On December 27, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., an 83-year-old man was fatally struck while attempting to cross Washington Street in Walpole, Massachusetts. According to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, David Johnson, a resident of Walpole, was hit by an SUV in the afternoon hours. Emergency personnel transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The 19-year-old driver remained at the scene and contacted emergency services. Authorities confirmed that she is cooperating with investigators. No charges were immediately filed.
