Emma Ingram Killed in Carnation, WA Tree Accident – December 7, 2025

On December 7, 2025, Emma Ingram, a resident of Carnation, Washington, was fatally injured when a tree fell onto her vehicle while traveling south on State Route 203 near Fay Road Northeast. Emergency responders from Eastside Fire & Rescue and Redmond Fire attended the scene, but Ingram was pronounced deceased. Her boyfriend, who was driving the vehicle, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. The incident caused a complete closure of SR 203 for approximately 3.5 hours.

The Washington State Patrol reported that Ingram was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of impact. Debris from the initial collision also caused a secondary incident involving a northbound vehicle carrying two adults and two children, although none of the occupants were injured. Authorities noted that the ground was saturated due to recent rainfall, increasing the risk of falling trees. Ingram leaves behind two children and is remembered by her family as a devoted mother, daughter, and sister.
