Fatal Collision Claims Lives of Michelle Braman and Tara Calhoun in Clay County, Arkansas on October 9, 2025

Arkansas State Police have confirmed that a fatal single-vehicle crash on State Highway 211, north of Success in Clay County, resulted in the deaths of three individuals on the night of October 8, 2025. Investigators reported that the vehicle, a 2001 Nissan Xterra, left the roadway, entered a ditch, struck a tree, and subsequently ignited. Upon arriving at the scene, troopers found the driver and both passengers deceased.

Among the victims were 45-year-old Michelle Braman and 19-year-old Tara Calhoun, both of Corning. The circumstances leading to the vehicle’s departure from the roadway remain under investigation. Authorities have released no further details, and the Arkansas State Police inquiry is ongoing.
