Fernando Villa and Lazaro Villa Injured in El Paso, Texas Drunk Driving Crash on December 6, 2025
A violent two-vehicle collision in El Paso, Texas left one woman dead and two men critically injured on the afternoon of December 6, 2025, according to authorities. The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Montana Avenue (U.S. Route 62) and Desert Meadows Road when an eastbound Chrysler 300 allegedly ran a red light and struck a Ford Focus traveling north. The force of the impact caused the Ford’s engine to detach and strike a utility pole, while debris from the collision became lodged in the Chrysler.
Fernando Villa, 32, and Lazaro Villa, 61, who were occupants of the Ford Focus, sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment. A third occupant of the Ford, 60-year-old Lucia Villa, later died from her injuries. Authorities reported that the driver of the Chrysler suffered minor injuries and was charged with intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released by officials.
