Ione Hill Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in Wanamingo Township, MN – September 19, 2025
On September 19, 2025, a two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 60 and County 1 Boulevard in Wanamingo Township, Goodhue County. A northbound 2022 Freightliner straight truck collided with a westbound 2018 Nissan Murano, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to two occupants of the Murano.
The passenger, identified as 71-year-old Ione Marie Hill of Northfield, Minnesota, was transported to Saint Mary's Hospital along with the driver, 67-year-old Lois Ann Cummings, who also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Freightliner, David Clarance Jackson, 67, of Eagan, was uninjured. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident, and no alcohol was involved. The crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
