Israel Guadalupe Fuentes Killed in Pharr, Texas Expressway Crash on November 29, 2025

On November 29, 2025, a fatal crash on North Interstate 69-C in Pharr, Texas, resulted in the death of 26-year-old Israel Guadalupe Fuentes. According to court records, Fuentes was found unconscious and pinned between two vehicles following a collision that occurred around 1:30 a.m. Emergency responders located him trapped between a Chevrolet Silverado and a Toyota Tundra, having sustained severe injuries to his legs. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities identified Alejandro Trevino, 20, of Edinburg, as the driver of the Toyota Tundra and the suspected intoxicated motorist responsible for the crash. A woman in the Silverado suffered a broken arm and facial injuries but survived. Trevino admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving and was observed displaying multiple signs of intoxication at the scene. After failing a field sobriety test, he was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. His bond was set at $150,000, and jail records indicate he was released the following day.
