Janet Ann Brixius Critically Injured After Being Struck While Crossing Highway 25 in Pierz, Minnesota on January 13, 2026

On January 13, 2026, an 85-year-old pedestrian was critically injured in a traffic incident at the intersection of Highway 25 and Park Avenue in Pierz, Minnesota. According to authorities, Janet Ann Brixius was crossing Highway 25 eastbound when she was struck by a Buick Enclave exiting the local post office parking lot and attempting to travel southbound. Road conditions at the time were reported as wet.

Brixius sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to CentraCare–St. Cloud for emergency treatment.
