Janice Hazen Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Harrison Township, Minnesota on December 6, 2025

Janice Hazen, 88, of Belgrade, Minnesota, was killed in a two-vehicle traffic collision that occurred on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Harrison Township, Kandiyohi County. According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, the crash took place at the intersection of Tri-County Road and 135th Avenue Northeast and involved an SUV and a pickup truck.

Authorities reported that Hazen was a passenger in the SUV at the time of the collision. The SUV, driven by a 74-year-old man, collided with a pickup truck under circumstances that remain under investigation. Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported for medical treatment. Janice Hazen was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Officials have not released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
