Jessica Jo Hemenway and Paul Sanford Hemenway Injured in U.S. Highway 52 Crash at County Road 12 in Preston, Minnesota on February 13, 2026

A two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 52 at County Road 12 in Fillmore County left two passengers injured on the afternoon of February 13, 2026.

Authorities reported that the collision occurred at approximately 3:32 p.m. when a 2013 Kia Forte and a 2023 Ram 3500 pickup were both traveling northbound on Highway 52 near Preston. The vehicles collided under dry road conditions. Jessica Jo Hemenway, 53, of Harmony, Minnesota, and Paul Sanford Hemenway, 49, also of Harmony, were passengers in the Kia Forte at the time of the crash. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Decorah Hospital in Iowa for treatment. The Kia was driven by a 17-year-old male from Harmony who was not injured. The driver of the Ram pickup, Grant Samuel Fleming, 24, of Stewartville, Minnesota, was also uninjured. Authorities indicated that all occupants were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not suspected as a contributing factor.
