Joann Womack Injured in Fatal Crash on State Highway 129 in Rural Union, Arkansas – September 26, 2025
On the night of September 26, 2025, a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on State Highway 129 in Rural Union, Union County, Arkansas. A 2014 Dodge traveling northbound left the roadway and overturned multiple times. The crash resulted in the death of 41-year-old Chad H. Womack of Huttig, who was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Joann Womack, a 35-year-old passenger also from Huttig, sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to South Arkansas Regional Hospital. The road and weather conditions were reported as clear and dry. The Arkansas State Police is investigating the incident, and the deceased was transferred to Perry's Funeral Home.
