On the afternoon of December 24, 2025, a single-vehicle rollover crash occurred on Polk Road 26 near the Oklahoma state line in Polk County, Arkansas. The incident involved a westbound 2005 Nissan Titan traveling under dry road conditions. According to the official report, the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, causing the passenger-side tires to leave the roadway and strike an embankment. The impact resulted in the vehicle overturning and coming to rest upside down, partially in the eastbound lane and partially in a ditch.

Jonathan Akins, a 52-year-old passenger from Hatfield, Arkansas, sustained injuries and was transported to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs for medical treatment.
