Julie Mae Lindenmuth Injured in Wrong-Way Highway 200 Collision Near Laporte, Minnesota on January 11, 2026

A two-vehicle collision involving a wrong-way maneuver on Highway 200 left several young occupants injured Sunday afternoon in Hubbard County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 1:54 p.m. near County Road 45 in Laporte, where a northbound Ford F-250 intentionally entered the southbound lane. In an attempt to avoid impact, the southbound Chevrolet GMT-400 moved into the northbound lane, but the vehicles collided when the Ford returned to its original lane. Road conditions were reported as wet at the time of the crash.

Julie Mae Lindenmuth, 18, of Walker, Minnesota, was a passenger in the Ford F-250 and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center for treatment. Authorities reported that no occupants in the Ford were wearing seat belts. The driver and occupants of the Chevrolet sustained minor or no injuries. Alcohol was not suspected, and the incident remains under investigation.
