Kasha Guild Killed in I-70 Crash Near Richfield, Utah – January 9, 2026 Fatal Ejection Incident

On January 9, 2026, near Richfield, Utah, 32-year-old Kasha Guild of Redmond lost her life in a crash along Interstate 70. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. as several vehicles were traveling westbound a few miles north of the city. Guild, driving a red 2004 Acura MDX, had slowed and activated her hazard lights prior to the collision. During the sequence of events that followed, she was ejected from the vehicle.

Guild was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released additional details regarding contributing factors as the investigation remains ongoing. The fatal crash marks another loss on a stretch of highway that routinely carries high-speed traffic through central Utah. Guild, identified as a resident of Redmond in Sevier County, was 32 years old.
