Kasha Guild Killed in Sevier County, Utah I-70 Crash — January 9, 2026 Ejection and Vehicle Fire

Kasha Guild, 32, of Redmond, Utah, died following a collision on Interstate 70 in Sevier County on the morning of January 9, 2026. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, Guild was traveling westbound in an Acura MDX when her vehicle, which had been moving slowly with hazard lights activated, was struck from behind by a westbound truck pulling a flatbed trailer.

The impact forced both vehicles off the roadway. Guild was ejected from her vehicle, which subsequently caught fire. Despite emergency response efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. Authorities stated that the crash remained under investigation as they continued to review the sequence of events leading up to the collision.
