Kelli L. Jenkins Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-40 Near Yukon, Oklahoma on December 1, 2025

Kelli L. Jenkins died following a multi-vehicle traffic collision on Interstate 40 near Yukon, Oklahoma, on December 1, 2025, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that the crash occurred at mile marker 106 during hazardous roadway conditions caused by slick surfaces. Jenkins lost control of her vehicle while traveling in the eastbound inside lane, struck a concrete barrier, and was subsequently hit by another vehicle that was unable to stop. The force of the impact pushed Jenkins’ vehicle into a third, unoccupied vehicle that had stopped in the median.

The collision was one of several serious accidents reported across the Oklahoma City metropolitan area that morning as freezing conditions contributed to widespread roadway hazards. Emergency crews responded to more than 100 crashes throughout the region, with multiple incidents resulting in fatalities. The circumstances surrounding Jenkins’ crash remain part of a broader investigation into weather-related traffic accidents that occurred during the same period.
