Ma Khristina P. Catindig, Many A. Debruyn, and Jennifer C. Bradshaw Injured in Thurston County Six-Vehicle Crash – December 5, 2025

On December 5, 2025, a six-vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 5 in Thurston County resulted in injuries to Ma Khristina P. Catindig, 48, of Yelm; Many A. Debruyn, 26, of Lacey; and Jennifer C. Bradshaw, 59, of Lacey. The incident occurred at approximately 7:27 a.m. near Martin Way when an unlicensed commercial driver, Juan Hernandez Santos, failed to reduce speed for slowing traffic and struck multiple vehicles, including a school bus, a Ford Fusion, and several passenger vehicles.

The Washington State Patrol identified “following too close” as the primary cause of the crash. All three injured individuals were transported to Providence St. Peter Hospital for treatment. The accident prompted a closure of the roadway for over two and a half hours while authorities cleared the scene and investigated the sequence of events. No involvement of alcohol or drugs was reported in the incident.
