Mackenzie Lothert Injured in Traffic Collision in Redwood Falls, Minnesota | October 10, 2025

On October 10, 2025, a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road 1 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, involving Mackenzie Rose Lothert. The incident involved a 2010 Ford Fusion traveling eastbound, driven by 21-year-old Levi Christopher Stefansen of Bellview, Minnesota, and a 2016 Chevy Silverado traveling northbound, driven by 18-year-old Skyler James Yates of Springfield, Minnesota. The collision resulted from a failure to yield at the intersection.

Mackenzie Lothert, a 19-year-old passenger in the Ford Fusion, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Redwood Hospital for evaluation. Other occupants of the Fusion, including a two-year-old child, also suffered minor injuries, while all occupants of the Silverado escaped uninjured. Road conditions were dry at the time of the collision, and no alcohol was involved. Emergency response was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Redwood Falls Police Department, and Centra Care Ambulance.
