Madelyn Evans, 21, Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision at Highway 270 and Highway 104 in White Hall, Arkansas - December 5, 2025

A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred on December 5, 2025, at approximately 3:26 PM at the intersection of Highway 270 and Highway 104 in White Hall, Jefferson County, Arkansas. According to the Arkansas State Police crash report, a 2002 Chrysler 200 traveling westbound on Highway 104 failed to stop at a stop sign and was subsequently struck on the driver's side by a 2021 Toyota 4Runner traveling westbound on Highway 270. The collision resulted in one fatality and two injuries. Weather conditions at the time of the incident were reported as clear, with dry road conditions. Trooper Gage Sanders of the Arkansas State Police conducted the investigation into the collision.

Madelyn Evans, a 21-year-old female resident of White Hall, Arkansas, was operating the Toyota 4Runner at the time of impact and sustained injuries requiring medical attention. Evans was transported to a medical facility for treatment of her injuries. The operator of the Chrysler 200, identified as Jaime L. Dieffenbacher, 43, of Batesville, Arkansas, was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision. An additional minor passenger in the Chrysler 200 also sustained injuries in the incident. The body of the deceased was held at the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, and next of kin notification was completed. The collision investigation determined that the failure to observe the stop sign at the intersection was the primary causal factor in the fatal incident.
