Maile Harding Seriously Injured in Snohomish County, Washington One-Vehicle I-5 Crash on December 24, 2025

A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Snohomish County left a young Coupeville woman seriously injured during the early morning hours of December 24, 2025. According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 3:35 a.m. when a southbound vehicle left the roadway near Southwest 164th Street and struck a barrier before coming to rest on the left shoulder.

Maile Harding, age 22, was a passenger in a 2018 Subaru Legacy traveling with three other occupants at the time of the crash. She was transported to Providence Hospital in Everett with serious injuries. Another passenger, a 22-year-old man from Coupeville, received treatment at the scene. Preliminary findings indicate that alcohol or drugs may have been a contributing factor. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
