Maria Pelehos Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision at Highway 61 and Spring Creek Road | Red Wing, MN | September 2025
On the morning of September 24, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 61 and Spring Creek Road in Red Wing, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2020 Dodge Durango traveling northbound on Highway 61 attempted to turn left onto Spring Creek Road and collided with a southbound 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. The Grand Caravan was operated by 79-year-old Maria Pelehos of Red Wing.
Pelehos, along with her 15-year-old passenger Gabriel Constantine Kittelson, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Red Wing Hospital. The driver of the Durango, Natasha Marie Taylor-Brock, was uninjured, while her passenger, 36-year-old Gregory Anthony Roberson, was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. All occupants were wearing seat belts, airbags were deployed in both vehicles, and no alcohol was involved. The road was reported as dry at the time of the crash.
