Pierre Raymon Mack Fatally Struck in Construction Zone on I-35W | Burnsville, MN | September 2025

On the morning of September 24, 2025, a fatal workplace incident occurred within a construction zone on southbound I-35W at Burnsville Parkway in Burnsville, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 29-year-old Pierre Raymon Mack of Saint Paul was fatally injured when he was struck by a reversing construction vehicle. The vehicle involved was a 2016 Freightliner 114SD, operated by 50-year-old Kerry Don Ingram of North Branch.

Authorities confirmed that the incident occurred under dry road conditions. No alcohol was involved, and the driver of the vehicle was uninjured. Mack, who was on foot and working within the construction zone at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, with assistance from the Burnsville Police Department and the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office.
