Marielbys Rodriguez Viloria Injured in Highway 25 Collision in Monticello, Minnesota on December 18, 2025

A traffic collision on snow- and ice-covered roadways in Monticello, Minnesota resulted in injuries on the afternoon of December 18, 2025. The crash occurred at the intersection of northbound Highway 25 and School Boulevard when a Toyota Corolla traveling northbound collided with a Chevrolet Impala that was preparing to turn left from southbound Highway 25. Emergency responders from Wright County and the Monticello Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.

Marielbys Rodriguez Viloria, 21, of Buffalo, Minnesota, was a passenger in the Toyota Corolla and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and did not require transport to a medical facility. Authorities reported that airbags deployed in both vehicles and confirmed that alcohol was not a factor. Road conditions were identified as a contributing element as investigators concluded their assessment of the incident.
