Nastaho Amare Critically Injured and Unborn Baby Lost After Alleged DUI Head-On Crash in St. Cloud, Minnesota on February 13, 2026

A violent head-on collision in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on February 13, 2026, left a local woman critically injured and resulted in the death of her unborn child. The crash occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the 3200 block of 5th Street North when an SUV traveling westbound reportedly crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a minivan driven by Nastaho Amare, 34, of St. Cloud.

Emergency crews from the St. Cloud Fire Department extricated Amare from her burning vehicle before she was transported to St. Cloud Hospital in critical condition.
