Nathan Gibb Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Collision in Monticello, Minnesota | October 12, 2025

A serious three-vehicle collision occurred shortly after midnight on October 12, 2025, in Monticello, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place at the intersection of Highway 25 and 7th Street when a northbound 2014 Chevrolet Silverado collided with a westbound Chevrolet Cruze and a southbound Chevrolet Malibu. Emergency responders from Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Monticello Fire Department, and CentraCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.

The driver of the Malibu, identified as 42-year-old Nathan Patrick Gibb of Redwood Falls, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for advanced medical treatment. The Silverado driver, 40-year-old Tyler Scott Wild of Zimmerman, was also injured and taken to St. Cloud Hospital; authorities noted that alcohol was a factor in his involvement. A 17-year-old male from Monticello, operating the Cruze, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
