Rob Brekke Injured in Bicycle Collision with Pickup Truck on Highway 108 in Edna Township, Minnesota – October 13, 2025

On the morning of October 13, 2025, a bicyclist identified as Rob Lee Florin Brekke, 37, of Perham, Minnesota, was injured in a collision with a pickup truck in Edna Township, Otter Tail County. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crash occurred at approximately 11:01 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 108 and 380th Avenue. A 2021 GMC Sierra, driven by 41-year-old Cameron John Rittenour of Erhard, was traveling westbound on Highway 108 when it struck Brekke, who was also traveling westbound on his bicycle.

Emergency personnel from Dent Fire, Perham Fire, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, and Perham Police Department responded to the scene. Brekke sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health in Fargo for treatment. Authorities confirmed that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Rittenour was uninjured, and there were no indications of alcohol or drug involvement. The roadway was reported to be dry, and weather conditions were clear. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
