Ramon Espinosa Dies in Electric Scooter Collision on Kermit Highway in Odessa, Texas – October 1, 2025
In Odessa, Texas, on October 1, 2025, 54-year-old Ramon Espinosa was killed in a collision while operating an electric scooter along Kermit Highway. According to the Odessa Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 7:53 a.m. in the 3300 block of the roadway. Espinosa was traveling eastbound on a blue electric scooter when he was struck from behind by a silver Ford Expedition driven by 32-year-old Sierra Hall of Andrews.
Emergency responders from the Odessa Police Department and Odessa Fire Rescue arrived at the scene, where Espinosa was pronounced dead. No additional injuries were reported, and authorities confirmed that Espinosa’s next of kin had been notified.
