Randy Kessel Seriously Injured in Blaine, Minnesota Car Accident on September 21, 2025

On the evening of September 21, 2025, a two-vehicle collision in Blaine, Minnesota, resulted in serious injuries to 74-year-old Randy Allen Kessel of Braham. The crash occurred around 7:20 p.m. when a northbound 2008 Honda Accord collided with a westbound 2004 Buick LeSabre at the intersection of State Highway 65 and 109th Avenue Northeast. Kessel, the driver of the Buick, was transported to Mercy Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two additional occupants of the Buick were also hospitalized.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the occupants of the Honda Accord were not injured. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not released any further information regarding citations or fault at this time.
