Reardan, Washington Highway 2 Crash Involving Porter Fulps – November 5, 2025

On October 24, 2025, a fatal head-on collision occurred on U.S. Highway 2 near South Stroup Road, approximately four miles east of Reardan, Washington. According to the Washington State Patrol, a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 23-year-old Isaiah Seymour crossed the center line while attempting to pass other vehicles. The Hyundai collided head-on with a garbage truck operated by Porter Fulps, age 27.

Both vehicles were immediately engulfed in flames following the impact. Seymour died at the scene from blunt force and thermal injuries, as confirmed by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office. Fulps sustained injuries and was transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he was treated and released. The medical examiner ruled Seymour’s death an accident.
