According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, traffic had come to a stop when one vehicle struck the rear of another, triggering a chain reaction involving multiple cars and semi-trucks. Among the injured was 50-year-old Robert Barr of Fort Smith, who was a passenger in a 2019 Nissan. He was transported to Saint Mary’s Regional Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
