Robert Lesnau Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 169 in Vermilion Lake Township, Minnesota – October 2, 2025

On the afternoon of October 2, 2025, a collision occurred at the intersection of Northbound Highway 169 and County Road 77 in Vermilion Lake Township, St. Louis County, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and a 2010 Ford Edge. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Jeep was traveling eastbound on County Road 77 when it came into contact with the northbound Ford Edge.

Robert Edward Lesnau, 77, of Hoyt Lakes, was a passenger in the Ford Edge at the time of the collision. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was not transported to a healthcare facility. Both vehicles’ airbags deployed, and all parties were reported to have been wearing seat belts. The cause of the crash remains under review, with no indication of alcohol involvement.
