Ruth Samuel Dies After Pedestrian Crash in Randolph, Massachusetts – October 16, 2025

On October 16, 2025, authorities confirmed the death of 65-year-old Ruth Samuel of Dorchester, Massachusetts, following a pedestrian crash earlier in the week. The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Warren Street and Silver Street in Randolph. Samuel sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Boston hospital, where she later died.

According to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey, the driver involved—a 48-year-old woman—remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No charges have been filed at this time. The ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Randolph Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
