On October 16, 2025, authorities confirmed the death of 65-year-old Ruth Samuel of Dorchester, Massachusetts, following a pedestrian crash earlier in the week. The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Warren Street and Silver Street in Randolph. Samuel sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Boston hospital, where she later died.

According to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey, the driver involved—a 48-year-old woman—remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No charges have been filed at this time.
